Managing Composites, a rapidly expanding business based in Spain with international customers, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Project Manager to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee Project Delivery: Manage individual projects from initiation to completion, ensuring smooth execution, timely delivery, and within budget.
  • Customer liaison: Act as focal point of Managing composites with customers during the delivery of the projects assigned.
  • Budget management: Compilation of cost forecast and tracking of cost with identification of risks and opportunities.
  • Component Management: Coordinate the design and development of new products and components, ensuring the designs meet project specifications and deadlines. Ensure that design reviews and quality procedures are followed during the development.
  • Supervision of Material Selection, Procurement & Manufacturing: Work closely with projects engineers and suppliers to ensure the timely procurement of materials, ensuring they meet project requirements and specifications.
  • Risk management and problem resolution: Proactively address project challenges, identify solutions and opportunities, and drive project teams toward successful resolutions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and collaboration for successful project outcomes. Lead the internal team in the successful delivery of projects.
  • Design Review & Coordination: Review and collaborate on external designs, assess their impact on project timelines, and document potential solutions or improvements.
  • Process Improvement: Support the development and implementation of new processes and procedures to improve project efficiency and adaptability in dynamic environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Management or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of Project Management Experience, with a proven track record of delivering projects in a full lifecycle product development (from concept to manufacturing) or industrial environment. Ideally previous involvement in projects involving composites.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, and familiarity with design tools like Fusion 360 and CIE.
  • Experience in the management of contracts and customer relations in an international environment.
  • Commercial acumen.
  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, with the ability to manage risks and deliver solutions under pressure.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, in Spanish and English.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Team leadership abilities, with experience managing cross‑functional teams and fostering collaboration.
  • Proactive attitude and the ability to work autonomously, with a focus on delivering results.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel for project tracking, reporting, and data analysis.
