Now, we’re searching for a talented Composites Engineer to join our dynamic team. We are looking for a composites ninja who is passionate about manufacturing. Automotive lovers who want to shape the future of mobility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver effective management on individual projects.
  • Analyse quality issues in projects.
  • Review designs to identify potential errors or critical points, and document recommended solutions.
  • Develop and design additional components and prepare relevant documentation.
  • Select materials considering manufacturer and/or supplier availability.
  • Compile and select technical regulations, standards, and norms.
  • Provide end‑to‑end customer support, from the development phase to serial production, including supplier management, component manufacturing, and on‑site assembly assistance.
  • Conduct research and information gathering, including articles and datasheets.
  • Work collaboratively with both internal teams and external partners to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
  • Complete the corresponding 4C and QR documents.
  • Visit clients/suppliers when necessary.
  • Assist in the development of new processes and procedures across teams.
  • Implement and maintain rigorous engineering process methodology within the manufacturing team.
  • Lead Practical Problem‑Solving (PPS) activities to address Quality Concern Reports (QCR).
  • Represent Managing Composites as a subject matter expert for teaching and project activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Experience working with CATIA, Fusion 360, CIE, and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to organise, coordinate, and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Enjoy hands‑on work with a proactive attitude.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of composite components and their production techniques.
  • Knowledge of finishing processes including machining, curing, fastening, and surface preparation.
  • Knowledge of composite component inspection and repair techniques.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and overseas to support customers when required.
