You will be reporting to our Operations Manager who oversees this contract; and will be responsible both operationally and financially to ensure the smooth running on a day to day basis. You will be working within a School Canteen environment where all the food is prepared with fresh ingredients daily.
You will want to provide the best service and have experience operating a diverse portfolio of service offers ranging from retail to grab n go, with occasional hospitality events. You must have chef experience and be able to manage a large team to deliver culinary and customer service excellence. You must bring innovative solutions and quality service in alignment with business objectives and client expectations.
We are looking for someone with a background of working in Education, who has the ability to meet and exceed financial targets and really want someone with excellent organisational, multi-tasking & communication skills and possess a ‘hands on’ and proactive management style. You must have strong IT skills and be experienced in producing reports, monitoring GP and closing weekly accounts.
Special Skills
- Chef – NVQ Level 3 OR equivalent OR Relevant experience.
- Manager – managing a small team, food, stock, due diligence and cash handling.
Safeguarding is of the utmost importance to Churchill/Radish therefore you will be required to complete a full DBS Clearance.
