We have a Make Ready Technician position at our Management Support property with 536 apartment units. The Palisades in Paradise Valley is located at 13440 N. 44th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85032.
We are looking for applicants who are confident that their maintenance skills will yield high productivity and advancement within our company. We can train applicants with prior experience in the trades, as well as those with prior maintenance experience at other multifamily management companies. Compensation is based on experience and our anticipation of your performance. Hourly pay rate is $20.00 - $23.00. The full-time work schedule is 40 hours, with rotating weekend coverage.
We are proud of our Make Ready Technicians who have made a career in the multifamily business and advanced to higher positions at the company including Maintenance Technician and Maintenance Foreman, with increased responsibilities, skills and wages.
Qualifications:- HVAC certification preferred, not required.
- Basic electrical, plumbing, appliance maintenance and repair.
- Lift and carry 30 lbs. up three flights of stairs if there is no elevator.
- Current driver's license with non-rated auto insurance to be verified.
- Bilingual (any language) a plus.
- Understand and follow written policies.
- Work under direction of your Maintenance Foreman and Apartment Manager.
- Promptly and expertly attend to preventive and routine maintenance.
- Maintain property owned equipment and tools and ensure they are properly secured after each use.
- Ensure all work areas are secured per policy when they are not occupied.
- Complete service requests assigned for vacant units (make ready).
Payroll is every 2 weeks with direct deposit (no charge to employee) to your checking account.
