A requirement has arisen for a graduate with a degree in Accountancy, or a similar, numerical discipline to join an accounting practice to train as a chartered accountant (ACA) with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales starting in August. This requirement has arisen with one of our clients, a prestigious firm of accountants in the Channel Islands.
The experience to be gained as a trainee ACA is equivalent to that offered in London, Edinburgh, Leeds etc. A highly–competitive salary is on offer. Our clients are looking for graduates with first–class or upper–second class honours degrees in Accounting, or a similar, numerate subject to train as accountants.
In this role, you will gain a strong grounding in preparing accounts from basic records before moving on to more complex accounting, auditing, tax and business advisory work. This experience is invaluable in developing well rounded, highly competent accountants with a broad range of experience.
You will be trained in professional accounting practice and your professional accounting training expenses will be covered as part of your training contract. You must be prepared to work offshore in the Channel Islands. You are required to hold UK or Irish nationality.
