Opening in early 2026 in Mayfair, MA/NA is inspired by the Japanese belief that every ingredient holds an invisible energy shaped by nature and human craft. The Role
As a Commis Waiter / Waitress at MA/NA, you will support the restaurant floor team in delivering a seamless, thoughtful and polished guest experience. This role is ideal for someone at the beginning of their fine-dining journey who is eager to learn, develop strong service foundations, and grow within a world-class hospitality environment.
Working closely with Head Waiters, Waiters, Sommeliers and the Bar team, you will assist in maintaining service flow and presentation standards, ensuring every detail contributes to an exceptional guest journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Support waiters and head waiters during service to ensure smooth guest experience
- Assist with food and beverage service, including running dishes and clearing tables
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across tables and service areas
- Prepare and reset tables, mise en place and service stations before and during service
- Follow service standards, etiquette and guidance from senior team members
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with colleagues across all departments
- Anticipate guest and team needs and respond with efficiency and care
- Assist with opening, closing and side duties as required
