Our client is a well established Global manufacturer of power generation/turbines/combustion to a myriad of industries including Marine, Petrochemical, Waste to Energy, Hospitals, Education, Offshore Oil & Gas, Power Generation, etc. We are proud to be an integral part of their ongoing expansion, providing them with suitable local staff to complement their outstanding existing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Controls/Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer with experience of working with Siemens S7 PLCs to join a successful & expanding organisation. Due to continued planned growth they now require an additional controls engineer. The main purpose of this position will be to programme Siemens 7 PLCs.
- Designing & programming PLC software
- Review project file and confirm Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls scope
- Preparation of Instrument Data, Electrical drives (VSD) and MCC data sheets
- Prepare the PLC /DCS I/O lists
Experience of programming Siemens 7 PLCs:
- Well educated in a relevant discipline (Instrumentation /Electrical/ Electronic Engineering)
- Experienced in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering
- Competent in LV electrical circuit design and panel design
- AutoCAD
