Our client is a well-established global manufacturer of power generation/combustion equipment primarily for the petrochemical/oil and gas industry. Their market-leading comprehensive product range includes thermal oxidizers, burners, flare systems and pollution control equipment.
The ROLE
Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for a strategically important Senior Health Safety Engineer (Construction) to assume responsibility for health and safety of multimillion dollar construction projects, from initiation to completion within the EMEA region. This role requires a flexible and dynamic individual with considerable travelling involved; it is estimated that a third of your time will be spent on site, the remainder in the office.
Key responsibilities:
- Health and Safety policies and procedures in line with local and international regulations (e.g., OSHA, HSE regulations).
- Develop and maintain standard documentation packs, templates and process maps.
- Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections.
- Track and monitor engineer safety documents and qualifications.
- Ensure all individuals are vetted prior to mobilisation to a work site - including sub-contractors.
- Implement and track the calibration and certification of critical equipment.
- Organise and deliver HSE training.
