HOURS OF WORK: 30-32 hours a week (4 days - 9-5pm, flexible working times)
The COMPANY: Our client is a medical practice with over 24,000 patients and 100 staff. They are currently looking for an experienced Medical Secretary to cover work immediately for THREE MONTHS.
The ROLE: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Secretary to join the healthcare team.
- Provide administrative support to medical professionals.
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments and follow-ups.
- Answer and route telephone calls, take messages, and respond to enquiries.
- Prepare and maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Transcribe medical notes and update electronic health records.
- Order and maintain office and medical supplies.
- Ensure compliance.
THE CANDIDATE: Our client is looking for a strong Medical Secretary with the following experience and attributes:
- Previous experience of working as a Medical Secretary.
- Experience of ESR or System 1 preferred although not essential.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
