Mana Education is recruiting Cover Supervisors to work in a variety of welcoming secondary schools across Whittlesey and the surrounding areas. Whether you're an experienced Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, graduate considering a career in teaching, or someone with relevant experience working with young people, we'd love to hear from you. The Role
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials in the teacher's absence
- Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
- Manage classroom behaviour confidently and professionally
- Encourage students to remain engaged with their learning
- Work across a variety of subjects and year groups
- Build experience in a range of local secondary schools
No planning or marking is normally required, allowing you to focus on supporting pupils and maintaining high classroom standards.
What We're Looking For
- Relevant experience in UK schools or experience working with secondary-aged children or young people
- Confident communication and classroom management skills
- A calm, professional and reliable approach
- A genuine interest in education and helping young people succeed
- Own transport is advantageous but not essential
