Are you ready to build and shape a new business within one of Europe’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers?
MAN Truck & Bus UK Ltd is seeking an entrepreneurial, commercially minded and hands‑on Rental Manager (6‑month fixed‑term contract) to establish and grow our Top Used Rental business.
This is a unique opportunity to combine strategy and execution, taking full ownership of building the rental model from the ground up.
You will define the rental proposition, pricing, contracts and operating model, while personally managing day‑to‑day operations in the initial phase including vehicle deployment, customer onboarding, billing and issue resolution.
Working closely with Sales, Planning, Residual Value and Finance partners, you will develop the rental fleet strategy, drive utilisation and performance, and build strong partner relationships to support a scalable and sustainable business model.
As the operation matures, your focus will evolve towards performance steering, governance and growth.
We are looking for a commercially strong and proactive individual with experience in rental, fleet management or mobility services, who is comfortable operating hands‑on while also thinking strategically.
Strong financial understanding, stakeholder management skills and an entrepreneurial mindset are essential for success in this role.
