Do you have experience within a HGV workshop environment? Have you managed teams previously? We are recruiting for a Shift Supervisor to join our team in Aberdeen on a full‑time permanent basis working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and work as part of the team of technicians and apprentices, ensuring job cards are processed in a timely manner and work is completed to the required standards.
- Oversee and ensure that all MAN processes are followed correctly and all health and safety rules are adhered to.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers where required.
- Assist with planning and relevant training and development for the workshop staff, ensuring good communication and information flow between the front desk and service staff.
- Manage teams on multiple shifts to ensure the smooth running of the branch.
In order to perform this role effectively, you will ideally have a clean HGV/LGV licence, though this is not essential. You should have worked in the transport industry and ideally have a knowledge of a working service workshop.
