Do you have a background in technical training? Perhaps you have proven experience as a technician in the commercial vehicle industry and want to teach others? We are looking for a Technical Trainer to design and deliver highly effective and engaging technical training programmes for all technicians across our dealer network, utilising the latest technology, equipment and state of the art learning environments. This role will be based in our brand new state of the art Experience Centre in Manchester 4 days a week, with 1 day working from home.
We are looking for someone that will:
- Design, deliver and evaluate modern and engaging blended technical training programmes for all technicians across the dealer network using virtual and face to face learning methods.
- Continuously research, develop and update course content as required in line with changes within MAN or the wider industry such as product launches and legislation changes.
- Effectively assess technical knowledge and skills to personalise learning experiences.
- Work in collaboration with the technical support department and field teams to understand technical issues, identifying gaps in technical competence to shape learning content.
- Undertake all key administrative and practical tasks to support the successful delivery of the technical training pathways.
- Use extensive knowledge and experience to support the design of highly engaging digital learning.
- Utilise innovative and emerging digital technologies to create engaging learning experiences.
Your experience will consist of:
- Proven track record of working in heavy vehicle maintenance and demonstrated occupational competence holding Heavy Vehicle Maintenance.
