Do you have experience within the automotive industry and have a proven experience of running a busy HGV workshop? Do you have experience of managing teams of technicians or vehicle mechanics? We are recruiting for a Branch Manager to join our team in Bristol on a full time permanent basis. In this role, you will strategically manage and develop all aspects of an MAN Branch, focusing on delivering excellent customer service, parts sales and margin, workshop productivity and efficiency, to ensure profitability. Ensuring balance and consistent steering within these areas of responsibility is a key area of focus.
In order to perform this role effectively, you will develop & maintain a positive working relationship with colleagues & customers whilst ensuring high levels of Customer Service awareness are delivered. You will willingly learn and promote learning for others, share ideas and information and take pride in achievements of team objectives and reward staff appropriately.
You should come from an automotive background with a minimum of 5 years customer service experience in retail sales & service at a senior level and ideally have previous success with team management or supervision of at least 20 staff across several disciplines. Having a detailed knowledge and understanding of the truck industry in terms of service, parts and parts sales will be an advantage and overall understanding of balance sheet, profit & loss, cash flow and standard business metrics will serve you well.
