Man Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Apprentice to join our Talent Acquisition team. This is a unique rotational opportunity designed to give you broad exposure across the full talent acquisition lifecycle - from coordination and candidate management through to business partnering and emerging talent programmes. You will work alongside experienced TA professionals, gaining hands-on experience and building the foundational skills needed to launch a successful career in talent acquisition within a leading global investment management firm.

Responsibilities

  • TA Coordination
    • Interview Scheduling (SLA: 1 business day): Sending calendar invites to all relevant parties.
    • Booking rooms and arranging all logistical requirements for in-person interviews.
    • Sending candidate email confirmations, including in-person location details, and adding candidates to building reception as required.
    • Setting up any additional interview functionality, such as code interview links and login credentials.
    • Moving candidates forward to the interview stage in Greenhouse (ATS).
    • Maintaining interviewer spreadsheets, including checking and updating the on-call rota, interviewer rota, and planners as needed.
    • Responding promptly to urgent matters such as interview cancellations, no-shows, and last-minute change requests from candidates or interviewers.
    • Liaising with senior management administrators to coordinate availability as required.
    • Monitoring the team mailbox daily, forwarding requests to the appropriate individuals or responding directly where appropriate.
    • Processing agency invoices and purchase orders (POs).
  • Talent Acquisition (Business Partnering)
    • Shadowing team members across sourcing, screening, and candidate engagement activities to develop core TA skills.
    • Partnering with Senior Talent Acquisition team members to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
    • Assisting in writing and posting job descriptions under supervision, with a focus on inclusivity and engagement.
    • Conducting initial outreach to candidates via platforms such as LinkedIn and job boards, representing Man Group professionally.
    • Supporting candidate communications including interview scheduling, confirmations, and status updates.
    • Learning to utilise our Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse) to track candidates, update records, and manage workflows.
    • Supporting team reporting by maintaining accurate ATS data and producing basic reports as required.
  • Emerging Talent
    • Partnering with the Emerging Talent Partner to manage university outreach activities and career fairs.
    • Supporting emerging talent events hosted at Man Group's offices, including but not limited to work experience programmes and insight days.
    • Participating in the selection and screening process for Man Group's emerging talent programmes.
