Job Profile Summary:
As a key member of the Payroll Team in a FTSE250 company, the overall purpose of the role is to deliver the International Payrolls from start to finish. Reporting to the International Payroll Specialist this is a great opportunity in a Financial Services company. The Payroll Team delivers Payroll across 15 different regions.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the International Payroll Specialist with the main focus being the end to end processing of the multi-state USA (run on a semi-monthly basis), Bulgarian and Swiss/Liechtenstein payrolls each month; preparing the input data sheets, collating overtime, collaborating with the international teams to ensure all changes including joiners and leavers are captured, and adhering to payroll deadlines.
- Supporting across the other payroll regions such as UK Payroll, Australia, China, Denmark, Dutch, Hong Kong, Ireland, Japan, Italy, Spain and South Korea.
- Assisting with month end processes including filings and raising of Payments, Production and distribution of Finance GL files, distribution of payslips and employee correspondence.
- Assisting with year-end reporting and filings for the international payrolls, including EOY reports for the finance and comp team, and raising payments for tax filings.
- Dealing with employee queries via phone, Email, Slack and Service Now.
- Assisting with updating and creation of process notes and streamlining processes across the payroll function.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Position is ideal for candidate with right attitude who has relevant payroll knowledge of 2-3 years in International Payroll processing and is looking to progress in their career.
- Proficient in Excel (V Look Ups) and Word, together with working knowledge of at least one HR /Payroll system is beneficial – Workday for HR and ADP Streamline (SPM) and ADP Workforce Now Comprehensive (US) CGI Epayfact (UK) for payrolls.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and the ability to work independently and part of a team is key.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
