About the ProgrammeÂ
Our Technology Internship programme invites you to spend 12 weeks fully embedded in one of our teams, working on a self-contained project that drives technological advancement and delivers meaningful business impact. You will receive comprehensive support from a dedicated buddy and mentor who will guide your development and help you navigate the organisationÂ
Your projects will span cutting-edge technology domains such as software development, DevOps and data engineering. You will build a deep understanding of our business and the financial markets by working closely with teams across Portfolio Management, Trading, Risk, Responsible Investment, Operations and more. You will also have the opportunity to present your project to the Technology Management Committee. Â
Candidates who demonstrate strong performance may be offered a full-time position on our Technology Foundation Programme, our graduate scheme for launching exceptional technology careers at Man Group.Â
Who are we looking for? Â
Join us as an intern and you'll be part of a team that builds and runs the platform powering Man's hedge funds. Â
Requirements:Â
- Experience working with any of the following programming or scripting languages: Python, Java, C#.Net or C++ or demonstrable understanding of how an enterprise infrastructure functions.Â
- A genuine passion for technology – please include links to relevant work such as Github repostries, previous internships or Hackathon projects on your application.Â
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics or a related technical discipline (desired but not necessary). If you are excited about the role and can pass our tech test, we encourage you to apply.Â
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Â
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills Â
- Candidates should be in the penultimate year of their master’s or bachelor’s degree.Â

- Application Window: 17th October – 14th November 2025Â
- CV Screen: We'll review your application and contact you by email to confirm whether you're progressing to the next stage. Due to high application volumes, there may be a short wait, but we'll respond as soon as possible.Â
- Online Test: Technical homework assignment that should take no longer than one hour.Â
- Technical Interview: One-hour technical interview with an engineer from the team to assess your coding skills.Â
- Final Interview: 30 minutes with one of our technology managers to assess your suitability for the programme, either at our office in London or via video call.Â
