Mamoru is a global financial technology firm specializing in innovative payment solutions. We are committed to providing seamless and secure payment services to our global clientele, including corporates, institutions, and treasuries. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Sales Officer (CSO) to lead our efforts in obtaining FCA approval for our Payments (API or EMI) license and to spearhead our business development initiatives targeting clients who trade foreign exchange (FX) globally. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, regulatory compliance, and business development within the financial services industry. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the company’s strategic vision and business development plan, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and market opportunities. Regulatory Compliance:Lead the application process for the FCA API license, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met and maintained. Business Development:Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets to drive growth and revenue. Operational Management:Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and the highest standards of customer service. Financial Oversight:Manage the company’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and securing funding. Team Leadership:Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the company to investors, regulators, partners, and other key stakeholders. Qualifications: Proven experience at C-level or in a senior leadership role within the fintech, financial services firm that holds an API or EMI license. Strong business development & sales track record of driving growth and profitability. In-depth knowledge of the fintech landscape, including regulatory requirements and market trends. Demonstrated success in leading FCA regulatory applications. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to think strategically and execute effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
