The role: You’ll be the person who takes ownership of the finance function at Mammoth and shapes how our business operates and scales. As a Financial Controller, you’ll lead the finance function day to day with greater clarity, control and commercial insight. This is a hands-on leadership role with real influence and is ideal for someone ready to step into a No.1 position and shape the financial direction of a creative business.

Who you’ll work with
Day to day, you'll manage and develop one team member. You'll also partner closely with the MD and Managing Partners on financial performance and planning. You'll work with external accountants to take ownership of VAT and corporation tax processes.
What you’ll do
- Own all core finance operations including invoicing, cash flow, forecasting and reporting.
- Lead budgeting cycles and profitability analysis across clients and projects.
- Improve systems, processes and reporting to support a growing agency.
- You’ll bring greater clarity, control and commercial insight into the business.
What we’re looking for
- You’re professionally qualified (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) with a degree in finance, accounting or economics.
- You have 5+ years of experience, ideally within an agency or project-based business.
- You have a strong working knowledge of Sage and agency management systems (Synergist preferred).
- You’re comfortable operating across both detail and strategy.
- You’re commercially sharp and astute, able to translate numbers into insight and influence decisions.
- You’re ambitious with the appetite to grow into a broader finance leadership role over time.
