Graduate Engineer - Heavy Lifting and Transport Operations
Commencing September 2026
Starting salary of £32,000 per year and industry leading development plan
Working on site at the Mammoet office in Thornaby, Teesside
Do you excel at solving even the most challenging of problems? At Mammoet we set the bar high in developing the safest, most efficient solutions for our customer’s needs. Our engineers are critical to this and have the opportunity to apply their experience and skills to a wide variety of different industries, locations and projects. Reporting into one of our Engineering Team Leaders, we’ll help you grow and develop into the next generation of successful heavy lift Engineers.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Supporting the development of engineering solutions for heavy lifting and transportation projects
- Working with both conventional methodologies and developing new approaches
- Creating drawings, calculations, manuals, risk assessments and other key documents using various software packages like AutoCAD and in-house developed software
- Ensuring efficient execution that delivers the right results for the customer
- Developing your engineering understanding and expertise with the Mammoet equipment and its application
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Bachelor or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a similar engineering discipline
- Computer skills including CAD and Microsoft Office
- English, fluent proficiency verbal and written and UK right to work without restriction
- Full UK driving licence essential
