SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Slinger/Signaller for Sellafield Project. NAECI Rates Apply including lodge allowances. Working at our project site in Sellafield, Cumbria.

Your main responsibility will be to work within a multi-disciplined team carrying out Slinger Signaller duties. Reporting to the Sellafield Operations Manager, all positions are fixed term for a period of 18 months which will then be reviewed. We are open to receiving applications from candidates based throughout the UK. Please note, on occasion you may be required to attend our Teesside and/or Hixon Depot. These roles are specifically for applicants with their red (including NVQ) or blue CPCS and experience working in an onshore rigging environment. A current P4 pass would also be desirable. We are looking for candidates who are looking to secure a long-term career with Mammoet. We invest heavily in the training and development of our staff in order to help them progress therefore longevity is incredibly important to us.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Preparing and handling auxiliary equipment for the lifting, transport and movement of project loads
  • Securing the load and the job site
  • Installing and disassembling ancillary materials
  • Guiding the operator through signaling and radio comms
  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to the required standard

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Valid Red or Blue CPCS card with the relevant categories i.e Slinger Signaller
  • Applicants who hold a P4 pass will be preferred however not essential
  • Forklift, MEWP, safety passport tickets are desirable
  • Excellent attitude towards health and safety
  • Ability to work well as a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proactive with the ability to show initiative
