Salary £13.46-£15.16 per hour depending on experience and tickets held. OTE £45,000 per year.
Working from our HQ in Thornaby, UK with regular travel required.
Your main responsibility will be to work within a multi-disciplined team carrying out Rigging, SPMT and Jacking/Skidding duties. Reporting to the Operations Manager, all positions are permanent. We are open to receiving applications from candidates based throughout the UK. Please note, on occasion you may be required to attend our Teesside and/or Hixon Depot.
These roles are specifically for applicants with their red or blue CPCS and experience working in an onshore rigging environment. We are looking for candidates who are looking to secure a long-term, permanent career with Mammoet. We invest heavily in the training and development of our staff in order to help them progress therefore longevity is incredibly important to us. Travel throughout the UK and Europe will be required.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assemble lifting gear in accordance with rigging plans.
- Attach loads to crane hooks by use of lifting equipment including spreader beams, lifting beams, chain hoists, ensuring load balance, security and integrity.
- Bank the crane by use of recognised signals to safely direct the load to different types of locations.
- Manual handling activities.
- To work as part of the Jacking/Skidding team.
- Assist with the maintenance of Mammoet equipment.
What You’ll Need:
- Valid Red or Blue CPCS card with the relevant categories i.e. Slinger Signaller.
- Previous experience working as a Rigger in an onshore environment.
- SPMT experience is desirable.
- Forklift, MEWP, safety passport tickets are desirable.
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel and work throughout the UK.
