As a Quality Advisor, you will be responsible for co-developing, assessing and coordinating SHE-Q systems and standards. Conducting and facilitating internal and external audits including ISO9001/14001 and 45001. As part of this role, you will be writing and developing SHE-Q policies and procedures and standards in coordination with European counterparts. Reporting to the SHE-Q Manager, this is a full-time, permanent position to be based at our Thornaby office in Teesside. Occasional travel will be required to other project sites, offices and European travel.
What you’ll be doing:
- Policy Implementation: Develop and support with the implementation of SHE-Q policies and standards, driven by the business and/or client requirements.
- Advising: Formulate and present possible solution directions and issue advice at request or at own initiative, taking into account the applicable standards.
- SHE-Q Auditing: Prepare, communicate and conduct audits both internally and externally and monitor the progress of the relevant audit programme, taking into account the applicable standards.
- Reporting: Provide Safety Health Environment and Quality related reports with correct and relevant SHE-Q critical business indicators.
- Projects: Coordinate SHE-Q implementation projects of new and improved systems, procedures and processes.
- Administration: Coordinate, execute, maintain and/or improve administrative activities and systems, in line with internal and external requirements.
What you’ll need:
- Essential: Internal Auditor ISO9001 Lead Auditor 9001/14001/45001
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a Quality role.
- Extensive knowledge of Windows applications.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Willingness to travel within Europe when required.
