As Global Mobility Tax Advisor, you play a key role in ensuring compliance with international tax and social security regulations while supporting the business in the successful deployment of talent globally. You will operate in a dynamic stakeholder environment and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within Global Mobility, Tax and Payroll processes.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will combine operational execution with advisory responsibilities and take ownership of mobility-related tax and payroll processes across multiple jurisdictions.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Advising management, HR, Payroll and employees on international tax, social security and mobility compliance matters.
- Coordinating personal income tax filings for internationally mobile employees in cooperation with external tax advisors.
- Managing relationships with key internal stakeholders including European HR teams, Payroll, Finance and business leadership.
- Liaising with external parties such as tax firms, social security institutions, embassies and foreign payroll providers.
- Overseeing, executing and validating international payroll calculations, tax equalisation settlements and mobility-related compensation structures.
- Performing net-to-gross and hypothetical tax calculations for international assignments.
- Monitoring changes in international tax and social security legislation and translating these into practical business impact.
- Supporting and initiating process improvement and standardisation projects within Global Mobility.
- Reviewing and validating invoices from external vendors.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Tax Law, Finance, HR, Economics or a related field.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in Global Mobility, International Tax or Expatriate Payroll.
- Solid understanding of cross-border employment taxation and social security frameworks.
- Experience working in an international corporate environment.
- Exposure to international payroll structures and tax equalisation policies is highly desirable.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence at different organisational levels.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- A structured, analytical and proactive working style.
