Role Summary
The CQC Compliance Manager role is an essential part of the Clinic, supporting the Senior Leadership Team, acting as the day-to-day lead for all matters related to the Care Quality Commission and ensuring we adhere to the necessary standards and regulations.
Role Duties
- Responsible for ensuring the policies, procedures, guidelines, infrastructures, systems and processes of the organisation meet and continue to meet the applicable statutory, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
- Support the Senior Leadership Team in administering the statutory, regulatory, and compliance requirements, including compiling responses to regulators and inspection preparation.
- Responsible for the compliance audit plan and ensuring that compliance audits are conducted in accordance with required timelines.
- To keep abreast of the latest developments regarding HFEA, CQC, MHRA, HSE, Data Protection (GDPR) /ICO, Home Office, and any other relevant regulators (includes monthly RBAT report from the HFEA portal and any other HFEA alerts and communications.)
- Ensure the team is kept up to date with any changes to legislation and provide guidance.
Qualification/Experience for Role
- Proven experience as a CQC Compliance Manager, or equivalent role, within healthcare desired
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations and requirements required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, and regulatory bodies required
- Current or recent experience of working within a healthcare management and team management-based role required
