Role Summary: We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Trainee Pharmacy Dispenser to join our Pharmacy team, based in Laindon, Essex. The post holder will ensure the safe and effective running of the dispensary, meeting the organisations timeframes for medication dispatch.
Role Duties:
- Help perform basic prescription checks on patient's name, drug name and strength, dosage form and prescriber's authenticity on the prescription
- Assisting with downloading and redacting prescriptions from FP10 Inbox
- Help order medication according to prescriptions received and raise relevant Purchase Orders
- Help complete any tasks related to Purchase Orders
- Assisting with dispensing and labelling medications correctly
Qualification/Experience for Role:
- GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths desired
- Desire to complete NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant / Pharmacy Dispensary desired
- Experience within relevant Pharmacy setting desired
- Experience working within a busy and productive team desired
- Experience using MS Office preferred

About Mamedica: A private clinic, with linked pharmacy, which specialises in assisting patients who may not have found satisfactory results for their conditions via their existing medications. We work with consultants specialising within pain, psychiatry, neurology, palliative care and cancer, so our patients can receive their prescribed medication directly to their door, via next-day delivery service. Our prescribed medicines are produced and manufactured according to the pharmaceutical-grade EU-GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice.)
