Role Summary:
Mamedica are looking to recruit a locum Pharmacist to join our Dispensary team, based in Basildon, Essex, at our distance selling dispensary (no face to face patient contact).
Role Duties:
- Carrying out the final accuracy check on dispensed medications.
- Clinically screening prescriptions.
- Ensuring adherence to SOPs to medication handling, storage, dispensing and documentation.
- Confirming proper storage of medication according to their specific requirements, such as temperature, light exposure and humidity.
Qualification/Experience for Role:
- Master's degree in pharmacy or equivalent.
- Valid GPhC registration.
- Experience working as a qualified pharmacist.
- Experience working within a busy community pharmacy preferred.
About Mamedica:
Mamedica is a private clinic, with linked pharmacy, which specialises in assisting patients who may not have found satisfactory results for their conditions via their existing medications. We work with consultants specialising within pain, psychiatry, neurology, palliative care and cancer, so our patients can receive their prescribed medication directly to their door, via next-day delivery service. Our prescribed medicines are produced and manufactured according to the pharmaceutical-grade EU-GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).
