Overview

For the last 40 years, here at Mamas & Papas we have dedicated everything to putting the customer first. Every department has their own unique and special part to play in making this happen whether that be our store teams, or our customer care teams, our finance, IT, marketing…everyone. One of these key departments is our head office merchandising team.

Our Merchandising Team at Head office

Based at our Head office on the outskirts of Huddersfield, our Merchandising team make sure from a customer’s perspective we have the right products, in the right place, at the right time for them whether that be in our stores, online or where we sell our award nursery products into other retailers across the UK and in over 30 countries around the world. Through continued growth, we are looking to recruit a TRAINEE MERCHANDISER.

The Role

The Role of Trainee Merchandiser

This TRAINEE MERCHANDISER role taking responsibility in supporting the Merchandising team. One of the biggest product areas within Mamas & Papas. This incredibly talented department and team will analyse the weekly sales and stock intake, speak with store teams, customer care, our suppliers, Hong Kong, China on a daily basis to make sure supply and demand match up and products flow smoothly from factory through to designated distribution centres (both UK and International).

If you come from a Junior or Trainee head office merchandise background, have an analytical mind in dealing with the flow of products from supplier or manufacturer to customer. Or even, come from a statistical or numbers orientated backgrounds and would love to work for the No. 1 brand in the Nursery sector, a global supplier of nursery products then please don’t hesitate apply.
