For the last 40 years, here at Mamas & Papas we have dedicated everything to putting the customer first. Every department has their own unique and special part to play in making this happen whether that be our store teams, or our customer care teams, our finance, IT, marketing…everyone. One of these key departments is our head office merchandising team.
Our Merchandising Team at Head office is based on the outskirts of Huddersfield. They ensure from a customer’s perspective we have the right products, in the right place, at the right time for them whether that be in our stores, online or where we sell our award-winning nursery products into other retailers across the UK and in over 30 countries around the world. Through continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Merchandising Assistant.
The Role of a Merchandise Assistant involves supporting the Merchandising team, one of the biggest product areas within Mamas & Papas. This incredibly talented department will analyse the weekly sales and stock intake, speak with store teams, customer care, our suppliers in Hong Kong and China on a daily basis to ensure supply and demand match up and products flow smoothly from factory through to designated distribution centres (both UK and International).
If you come from a Junior or Trainee head office merchandise background, have an analytical mind in dealing with the flow of products from supplier or manufacturer to customer, or come from a statistical or numbers-oriented background and would love to work for the No. 1 brand in the Nursery sector, a global supplier of nursery products, then please don’t hesitate to apply.
