At Mamas & Papas we are passionate about creating a distinctive, illustrative handwriting through emotive & storytelling prints, designed in harmony for our beautifully innovative products. We are looking to recruit for a Print & Pattern Designer on a 12 month fixed term contract (maternity cover) specialising in textiles to join our innovative Mamas & Papas Softs Goods Design team.

This Designer role involves developing unique in-house prints & graphics specifically for textiles, whilst remaining true to our Mamas & Papas DNA and handwriting with our recognised attention to detail & premium quality. As a Print and Pattern Designer, you will be a highly creative individual with a passion for creating emotive graphics, interesting design repeats, artworks & illustrations that can be used across clothing, nursery interiors & other textile equipment.

Reporting into the Head of Soft Goods, you will play a key role in defining the textile print handwriting for the Mamas and Papas brand around the world. This includes:

  • Researching trends
  • Pulling new season prints together
  • Print to textile workings
  • Creating specification packs
  • Working with buyers & suppliers to produce products that fit our customers' lifestyle

You don’t have to come from nursery textiles or baby clothing print & pattern, but a passion for our category is key along with proven experience & ability in producing premium, defining print & pattern on textile design.
