From a Finance department perspective, it is a fast-paced, varied and multi-functional department bringing all these elements together in a clear way.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Support the month-end close process including journals, accruals and prepayments
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Support the analysis of variances against budget and forecast
- Weekly performance reports
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required
Skills and Experience:
- Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the retail or FMCG sector
- Strong MS Excel capabilities
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proactive, organised and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills
