Marketing and Photographic Assistant
About the job
We are looking for a self-starter, enthusiastic, hands-on person who loves natural fibres and slow fashion. The job involves working with our small team to brainstorm, plan and implement MamaOwl’s marketing plan, creating newsletters, sourcing and photographing/videoing content, help manage Instagram, Google,Meta, events and shoots. We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic person, with great visual skills who is able to work both on their own and within a team. The job is based primarily onsite at our offices in Leyton, East London.
Main responsibilities:
· Perform general marketing administrative duties, including managing emails, scheduling meetings, and coordinating internal communication on behalf of marketing.
· Creating weekly and seasonal content to include still life and video – able to do this on your own with a camera – not just a phone.
· Coordinate and update the promotional calendar making sure that everyone is on schedule with what is planned and that all actions are agreed to ensure smooth communication between departments.
· Brainstorm
· Assist in organising internal and external marketing events, such as photoshoots, and customer events.
· Creating and writing weekly newsletters in line with promotional calendar
· Process all invoices and maintain marketing budget tracking, update and maintain all Marketing google sheets and accounting processes.
· Support in all tasks in relation to photoshoots, including booking and organising photographers, locations, models, organising samples, preparing samples, and any other tasks needed.
· Liaise with digital marketing teams to ensure smooth operations of all ad campaigns and report back on these at weekly trade meetings.
· Run and manage the MamaOwl affiliates scheme.
· Support the team in gathering and analysing campaign data, including social media metrics, google analytics etc and brand awareness metrics.
· Work closely with the team to file and gather content, including product photography, graphics, and video assets so they are always available and easily accessible.

· Flexible in approach and strong on teamwork. Excellent people skills.
· Intermediate Photoshop, illustrator, Google Sheet, Excel and PowerPoint skills, as well as some experience working with project management tools.

· An understanding of the market where MamaOwl sits.

· Experience with basic photography and video editing skills.
· Experience with digital marketing.
