Job Description

What you’ll do…

  • Help with the daily maintenance of the hotel, hitting the right notes for any faults or repairs.
  • Plumbing – unblocking drains/toilets, repairing/replacing taps etc.
  • Minor electrical gigs – replacing lamps/fittings, sockets and switches etc.
  • Rock the Health and Safety tasks, like weekly fire alarm tests, water temperature monitoring, showerhead descaling.
  • Maintenance on HVAC systems like filter cleaning/replacing.
  • Ensure the hotel is kept to the highest maintenance standards.
  • Respond quickly to all maintenance requests and concerns from guests and team members following the hotel reporting procedure.

Qualifications

  • 2 years experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.

  • You know your way around Health and Safety in the workplace.

  • You will be required to work flexible shift patterns which will include weekdays and weekends to support the team, as and when required.
  • City & Guilds level 2 in any trade is desired but not essential.
  • Plumbing and HVAC experience desirable.
