Nursery Cleaner in Paignton

Mama Bear's Day Nursery is currently recruiting for aCleanerto join our friendly setting based in Paignton. The setting is located on Midvale Road and is situated in a large semi-detached property in the town centre, within walking distance of Paignton train and coach stations, schools, shops and other local amenities.

Our setting offers a stimulating, safe and welcoming environment to children and is focused on providing outstanding care to children from 3 months old to 4 years of age.

You will be responsible for ensuring the nursery is kept to a high standard of cleanliness. Duties will include cleaning the nursery, floors/carpets, toilets, base rooms, sleep rooms and staff areas. You will also report any maintenance issues that prevent safe and efficient cleaning of these areas. The ideal candidate will be available to work Monday to Friday, for 2 hours per day. Working hours can be either 6pm–8pm or 7pm–9pm, depending on the successful candidate’s availability.

The ideal Candidate will have experience of cleaning in a similar environment. An awareness of COSHH is desirable.

Due to the nature of the role it will be necessary for an enhanced criminal record disclosure to be undertaken.
