An apprenticeship gives you the opportunity to gain a recognised Early Years Qualification whilst working in a nursery where you will learn all the practical skills and knowledge needed to become a successful practitioner.

Mama Bear's Day Nursery is currently recruiting for an Early Years Apprentice to join our friendly setting based in Speedwell, Bristol. Our setting offers a stimulating, safe and welcoming environment to children and is focused on providing outstanding care to children from 3 months old to 4 years of age. You will work alongside trained practitioners who will support and mentor you to ensure that you fulfil your potential and become the best practitioner you can be.

Mama Bear's Day Nursery will be behind you every step of the way where you will also be supported by a local training provider who will come to the setting to meet and assess your progress. You do not need any previous experience to apply to work as an apprentice, the only requirements are:

  • Aged 17+
  • Not in full-time education/any other funded training
  • EU resident for past 3 years

Due to the nature of this role, you will need to complete an enhanced criminal record disclosure (DBS check). We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All staff and volunteers are required to share this commitment.
