Mama Bear’s Day Nursery is looking for a reliable and experienced Cook to join our friendly team in Speedwell. Our nursery provides a warm, welcoming environment for children aged 3 months to 4 years, and we are committed to offering nutritious, home‑cooked meals every day.
Responsibilities
- The Nursery Cook will prepare and cook fresh breakfasts, lunches and teas for babies and young children, following a set menu.
- Stock management.
- Maintaining a clean kitchen, washing up and ensuring high standards of hygiene at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience cooking in a similar environment (school, nursery, care setting or catering).
- Knowledge of allergies, dietary requirements and cross‑contamination.
- Familiarity with Safer Food Better Business (preferred).
- High standards of cleanliness and organisation.
