A global leader in energy management and automation is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel β Employment Law to provide expert legal guidance on UK employment matters. This role involves close collaboration with HR and leadership teams to navigate complex workforce issues and ensure compliance with UK employment regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise HR teams and senior leadership on UK employment law, covering contracts, policies, disputes, and compliance.
- Provide strategic legal support for restructuring, redundancies, TUPE transfers, and corporate transactions.
- Manage and advise on employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
- Support and lead negotiations with trade unions and employee representatives, fostering effective stakeholder engagement.
- Oversee employment litigation, working with external legal counsel where necessary.
- Deliver internal training sessions for HR and management on employment law, compliance, and workplace best practices.
- Contribute to corporate compliance initiatives and HR projects within a multinational environment.

Your Profile:
- Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with extensive expertise in UK employment law.
- Proven experience in employment law advisory, ideally within a multinational corporation or top-tier law firm.
- Strong background in employee relations, dispute resolution, and collective labour matters.
- Ability to navigate complex organisational structures and work collaboratively with HR and senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
