Principal advisor to the Commanding Officer for Unit personnel administration, Service financial matters and compliance & assurance. Leads the career management of all unit AGC(SPS)/GSPS and civilian HR personnel.
This position is advertised at 37 hours per week., Main Objectives
+ Advising the Command Team on all personnel administration, financial services, staff support and associated J1 & J8 matters.
+ Management, development and reporting of all administrative staff, including RAWO, FSA, all SPS personnel and other administrative civilian staff in both Command and Department locations.
+ Delivering personnel administration and associated G1 services, financial services and staff support to a level which attains or exceeds the requirement of extant regulations.
+ Admin preparation of the unit and its personnel for mobilisation and deployment on operations.
+ Civilian Workforce Advisor – Act as the focal point for all civilian staff and LM for appropriate staff, leading with workforce management and recruitment.
+ Act as Imprest Checking Officer of the Unit Account and JPA Audits and advise the CO on aspects of Public Funds accounting policy and implementation.
+ Act as auditor for Service Charitable Funds, providing advice and guidance to the Fund Managers for expenditure requirements.
+ Data Protection Advisor.
