you want to continue to help make our world a safer and healthier place, then apply for the role below and become a part of the extraordinary Eurofins network.Job DescriptionUnfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this roleThe purpose of this role is to be the primary point of contact for customers regarding their testing progress, providing timely updates, answering inquiries, and ensuring a smooth flow of communication between the testing teams and customers.Please note this is a 6 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT. Working 37.5 hours per week – 08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Friday.
- To ensure customer enquiries are responded to at first point of contact where possible.
- To communicate delays in analysis to customers at the required service level (currently >10 days) specifically for samples sent to partner laboratories within Europe.
- To ensure that the customer is seamlessly transferred to the appropriate person within the business to be able to answer their query where response at first point of contact is not possible. This may include account managers, ASM\’s, laboratory management, technical management or senior management as appropriate.
- Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with clients and working to establish a positive rapport with every caller.
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods and tools.
- Delivering customer satisfaction by listening to and exceeding customer expectations.
- Perform direct client communication for additional sample analysis requirements, including any queries during the registration process through email or telephone in a professional manner.
- Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with clients and working to establish a positive rapport with every caller.
- Registration, preparation and analysis of samples as required.
- Assisting the laboratory to maintain a turnaround time at >92%, ensuring that daily targets are achieved.
- Responsible for ensuring that UK health and safety legislation is maintained and helping to ensure that the working environment is kept in a clean and tidy manner.
- Ensure personal protective clothing equipment is worn in accordance with the Health & Safety policy.
- Work with the team to drive the laboratory forward through continuous improvement.
- To assist through operating best practice in order to meet the requirements of the UKAS accreditation standard.
- To partake in any developmental training as required in compliance with the Company Standard.
Good laboratory skills and practices.
- It will be of advantage to have knowledge of UKAS, ISO methods and experience in working laboratory.
- Enthusiasm, energy and a driven outlook
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and good computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
- Maths, English, Chemistry or Biology at GCSE grade, or equivalent.
