You will support our Principal Accountant in preparing capital budgets, closing the capital accounts, completing government returns and maintaining the capital programme. /p p Ideally you will be AAT qualified or a part-qualified accountant with experience in the preparation and management of capital budgets and closure of accounts in a busy organisation. You will be able to work independently, providing advice to officers, and also work well as part of a team. You will be a quick learner, able to pick up complex accounting concepts, and take responsibility for areas of work such as Community Infrastructure Levy and VAT.
