We are looking for an undergraduate student to get involved in a range of communities projects to assist in delivering our ‘We are Wychavon’ strategy. These focus around health, transport, youth, arts and engagement projects and activities. This is an exciting role in an innovative service area working with a wide range of partners and community organisations.
This is a student placement opportunity which can be undertaken within an academic setting (university or college placement or sandwich degree) or as a gap year or work experience opportunity to support your job applications and career development.
About you
- The successful candidate will be seeking a placement as part of their sandwich degree course, undergraduate or postgraduate career pathway.
- Have a minimum of two ‘A’ levels or equivalent.
- A confident communicator, passionate in supporting communities.
- Be flexible to attend events at weekends and Bank Holidays. There will be evening work at times also.
- Have experience of supporting community groups and an awareness of community projects around health, young people, arts, cost of living support and working with the voluntary sector.
- Need to hold an in-date full driving licence and have use of a car for business purposes.
