Are you an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and qualified Teaching Assistant? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our prep school team and make a real difference to children's learning and emotional development, helping to ensure that every pupil can access learning, build confidence and achieve their full potential.

This is an exciting opportunity to primarily support a lower KS2 teacher and pupils. You will work in close partnership with the class teacher to prepare resources, deliver engaging learning experiences, run targeted interventions with groups of children and provide social and emotional support.

The successful candidate will hold a minimum of Level 2 TA qualification, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a proactive and flexible approach, and a passion for supporting pupils to succeed. You will be confident managing pupil behaviour and supporting teaching within the lower KS2 age group. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of individual support plans, deliver one-to-one and small-group interventions (such as phonics and maths), and play a key role in promoting an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have ELSA training (or experience of delivering social and emotional interventions) and demonstrate that they can confidently facilitate ELSA/intervention sessions, with experience of working with pupils across KS2/Prep age group.

In return, we can offer a supportive, friendly, and inclusive school community with enthusiastic pupils who are eager to learn, plus CPD opportunities. This role is full time, term time only (34 term time weeks a year) including INSET days, and is a temporary contract for 1 year.
