We are looking to appoint a full-time Payroll Officer. The postholder will manage the end-to-end payroll, while focusing on auditing, compliance and process improvements, rather than manual payroll processing.
What you'll be doing:
- You will be reporting directly to the systems and payroll manager and working as part of a supportive and collaborative team.
- Key responsibilities will include:
- Payroll processing and compliance
- Financial Operations Management
- Payroll queries and customer service
You’ll have:
- NVQ Level 4 or above
- At least 2 years proven experience in a Payroll Officer or similar role
- Strong understanding of payroll procedures and statutory requirements
- Proficiency in ICT systems and ideally familiarity with iTrent payroll software and accounting software
- A collaborative approach to working across different functions to achieve the best outcomes
