Areas of Responsibility

Purpose

To support the strategic and operational delivery of educational initiatives across the Malvern College

Family of Schools, with a particular focus on Prep and Pre-Prep education. This role will work closely

with the Director of Education and Head of Education Development to enhance curriculum

innovation, professional development, platform engagement, and partnership scalability, ensuring

alignment with MCFS\’s ethos and strategic goals.

Curriculum and Pedagogical Support

Contribute to the refinement and rollout of curriculum models, particularly within Prep and EYFS

settings at current and new schools.

Identifying and sharing of best practice in Prep and/or EYFS settings within current schools and

supporting development of new schools including the training of staff.

Assist in the development of Prep/EYFS-specific resources and training materials.

Professional Development and Pathways

Coordinate CPD opportunities for Prep and EYFS educators, including contributions to the Malvern

Pathways programme.

Lead the creation of a half-termly education newsletter featuring staff stories, Malvern Qualities, and

celebrating examples of best practice.

Promote engagement with Pathways content and track participation metrics.

Partnerships and Scalability

Explore existing and potential systems and subscriptions (e.g. TES & National College) across

schools to identify opportunities for group-wide efficiencies, discounts and shared best practice.

Support the rollout of strategic educational and system partnerships and collaborative initiatives

across the MCFS network

Innovation and Technology

Assist in the development and implementation of a group-wide AI strategy in education.

Identify and promote the use of generative AI tools and edtech platforms to enhance teaching and

learning.

Curate and manage content on internal platforms, track usage, and celebrate champions of digital

engagement.

HR and Recruitment Support

Liaise with HR teams across the MCFS to align recruitment timelines and processes.

Collaborate with MAC teams to produce candidate packs and onboarding materials.

Data and Impact Monitoring

Support data analysis ranging from assessment results to university offers.

Contribute to impact reporting and evaluation of educational initiatives.

Deliverables

Prep and EYFS curriculum support materials and training resources.

Half-termly education newsletter and staff engagement reports.

Group-wide subscription and partnership analysis and recommendations.

AI strategy contributions and platform engagement analysis.

Recruitment timeline tracker and candidate pack templates.
