Minibus Driver

Grade CD, Scale Points 3-6

Part-time (20 hours per week – split am & pm), £13.45 per hour (Real Living Wage)

Term-time only (incl. training days)

Malton School is looking for an experienced minibus driver to enable service routes to be operated successfully and to offer the opportunity for those students who live slightly further afield (and without transport), an education with us at Malton School. This role is split over the day by collecting students in the morning and then collecting them and dropping them home in the afternoon.

We are looking for high level driving skills which demonstrate a careful and defensive approach, along with excellent attendance and reliability. The successful applicant will have a personable approach that will build mutual trust and respect with the students. Candidates must have a full, clean UK driving license (achieved before 1997) or hold a category D1 license and be able to meet the medical requirements for driving a passenger vehicle.
