Wath Academy is seeking to appoint an experienced and highly organised Senior Science Technician to lead our Science Technician team and provide outstanding technical support across the Science Department.
About the Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the effective preparation and delivery of practical lessons, demonstrations and assessments, supporting the teaching of Science from Key Stage 3 through to A Level. As team leader, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of the technician service, manage workloads, maintain high standards of practice, and ensure all practical requirements are met efficiently and safely. You will work closely with teaching staff to provide expert technical advice, support the delivery of the curriculum, and contribute to the training and development of colleagues, including student teachers where appropriate.
