The Situation: Malt is actively shaping the "New Way of Work." As a European scale-up with over 600 employees across Europe, UK, UAE, and more than 1 million freelancers on our platform, we are in a thrilling growth phase—bolstered by a new Executive team. We need an exceptional Senior Product Marketing Manager to architect the narrative and go-to-market engine for our core business initiatives, operating with high autonomy in a dynamic, high-stakes market landscape.
The mission: Drive zero-to-one growth by architecting our go-to-market strategy, uniting cross-functional teams, and translating intricate customer insights into highly scalable commercial execution. Taking full ownership of our product positioning, you will develop deep mastery in advanced marketplace economics and multi-stakeholder enablement, delivering the tangible business outputs that will directly accelerate our Gross Sales Volume (GSV) and market penetration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pillar 1: Go-To-Market Launch Architecture
- Action: Architect and drive comprehensive go-to-market strategies for multiple core product areas, decoding industry, market, and competitive intelligence to position Malt decisively.
- Output: Compelling, highly differentiated value propositions, messaging frameworks, and full-scale GTM campaigns that tell a resonant story and set us apart in the market.
- Metrics of Performance: GSV pipeline generated from new product launches and overall product adoption rates.
- Pillar 2: Commercial Enablement & Revenue Acceleration
- Action: Engineer and relentlessly optimize a robust commercial toolkit, empowering sales, account development, and marketing with the exact insights and narratives they need to win.
- Output: A dynamic, scalable "bill of materials" encompassing high-converting content for demand generation, client lifecycle marketing, and sales acceleration.
- Metrics of Performance: Sales cycle velocity (time-to-close) and conversion rate optimization across the entire funnel.
- Pillar 3: Product Strategy & Cross-Functional Synergy
- Action: Synthesize complex customer feedback and pilot data to proactively dictate general product releases, acting as the strategic bridge uniting Product Management, Sales, and Customer Success.
- Output: Market-validated product pilots, beta programs, and seamless cross-organizational alignment that directly shape and de-risk the product roadmap.
- Metrics of Performance: Beta-to-General-Availability successful transition rate and stakeholder alignment velocity.
Requirements:
- Orchestrated and scaled go-to-market strategies from scratch for complex B2B platforms, drawing on 8+ years of experience in enterprise software, SaaS, or marketplace environments.
- Distilled immense ambiguity into clear, actionable frameworks, demonstrating critical thinking and a relentless bias for action.
- Forged strong, collaborative partnerships across commercial, product, and marketing organizations, adjusting communication styles seamlessly to influence diverse global cultures.
- Demonstrated a proven track record of managing multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously, anticipating blockers and proactively engineering solutions.
- Leveraged Analyst Relations to successfully elevate brand positioning and market credibility in the B2B tech space.
Skills You Will Deploy & Develop:
- Advanced marketplace economics and dynamic matching optimization.
- Complex multi-stakeholder enablement, aligning Product, Marketing, and Sales under a single, unified revenue objective.
- Data-driven GTM sequencing and rapid pilot-to-launch scaling methodologies.
- Cross-border commercial storytelling designed specifically for diverse European enterprise segments.
This role is perfect for you if:
- Embrace ambiguity with a genuine enthusiasm for problem-solving, thrive on translating immense complexity into elegant frameworks, intuitively champion cross-functional team success, and possess the proactive drive to architect new solutions from the ground up.
This role is NOT for you if:
- Prefer maintaining predictable, pre-existing playbooks over building new ones, hesitate to take decisive action without explicit step-by-step guidance, or view cross-functional feedback and friction as a roadblock rather than an opportunity for collaborative optimization.
30-90-180 Day Impact Plan:
- Day 30: Dive deep into Malt’s marketplace mechanics, absorb our culture, and map out the current cross-functional processes. By the end of your first month, you will have built strong foundational relationships with Product and Commercial leaders while identifying and executing immediate enablement quick-wins.
- Day 90: Take full ownership of the GTM pipeline and Metrics of Performance for your designated core products. You will successfully launch your first major enablement toolkit and actively influence upcoming beta programs by injecting structured, data-backed customer insights.
- Day 180: Operate entirely autonomously, recognized across the organization as the definitive subject matter expert for your portfolio. You will have visibly accelerated GSV growth and conversion rates, continuously scaling and optimizing our product marketing engine across Europe.
