As part of the People team based in London, we are looking for a Talent Acquisition Expert – Tech & Product for a Strategic role. Malt is entering a new phase of scale, accelerating our transformation with AI at its core. In this role, you will partner directly with our CTO, CPO, and senior leadership to build the next generation of our Engineering, Data, and Product teams. We are looking for a recruiter who leads with an "engineering approach": rigor, problem-solving, analytical skills, and continuous iteration.

Key responsibilities
  • Strategic Hiring Partnership: Work closely with VP and C-level stakeholders to translate business ambition into hiring priorities, challenging role scopes and leveling to ensure maximum impact.
  • High-Stakes Search Leadership: Personally lead complex searches (Senior, Staff, Principal, Lead, Managers) and build long-term, nurtured pipelines in highly competitive markets.
  • Talent Bar Raising: Drive structured evaluation and calibration to help hiring managers make confident, well-reasoned, and data-informed decisions.
  • Building a Scalable Engine: Continuously improve tools, workflows, and automation (leveraging Lever and other tech) to increase hiring velocity and visibility.
  • Market Intelligence: Provide insights to leadership on the hiring market, identifying friction points and solving root causes to balance speed with talent density and diversity.
  • Strategic Impact: Act as a trusted partner, refining org design and ensuring that every hire strengthens Malt’s long-term organizational health.
About you
  • Experience: 6+ years in Talent Acquisition, with strong and proven exposure to Tech & Product environments.
  • Seniority: Experienced in leading senior and high-stakes searches, with the ability to partner comfortably with C-level leadership.
  • Mindset: Business-minded and analytical—you understand that hiring is a primary growth lever.
  • Traits: Structured, grounded, and sharp. You have high standards but low ego, and you are energized by scale and complexity.
  • Approach: You see recruiting as a measurable and predictable science, using data to drive transparency.
  • Languages: Fluent in English and French.

  • Final interview with Claire (CTO) at our Paris office to discuss Malt’s long-term vision.
