About The Role: As the Head of Global Account Management, you will scale and lead a high-performing team in the UK. You will orchestrate complex, multi-country enterprise deals, ensuring Malt becomes the strategic partner for the worldβs largest organizations while navigating a matrix environment. Your mission is to coach and develop a team of Global Account Managers (GAMs) and National Account Managers (NAMs) to ensure exceptional revenue retention, renewal success, and aggressive growth across multinational accounts.
- Strategic Leadership: Translate Malt's global strategy into actionable team priorities, territory mapping, and account allocations.
- Team Development: Manage, coach, and develop team members to elevate global execution and accountability.
- Sales Governance: Lead forecasting reviews with MEDDIC discipline, pipeline quality, and CRM accuracy.
- Deal Strategy & Support: Partner with GAMs on complex negotiations and renewal strategies; participate in strategic client meetings.
- Global Expansion: Oversee Malt's deployment across countries and entities, removing blockers to realize contract revenue.
- Cross-Functional Orchestration: Coordinate with Ops, Legal, Finance, and Product to approve commercial strategies for major MSAs and RFPs.
- Performance Monitoring: Identify risks in account health or pipeline and take corrective actions to meet or exceed targets.
- Insight Advocacy: Bring client insights to the Executive Committee and Product teams.
About You: Minimum 10 years of experience managing senior sales professionals and GAMs. Strong sales background with a track record of closing and managing massive, multi-million pound global enterprise accounts. Deep understanding of multi-country enterprise sales cycles, complex procurement, and renewal/expansion structures. Experience in a complex matrix organization across international borders. Experience with international account consolidation and aligning bonuses/targets across geographies. Deep experience in the Tech/SaaS sector; familiarity with the Malt model or platform-based economies. Proven coaching ability, building team capabilities, and leading high performance. Mastery of MEDDIC and Salesforce for forecasting and governance. Strategic guidance on global opportunities and C-level stakeholder influence. Full professional fluency in English; proficiency in French, Spanish, German, Dutch, or Italian is a plus. Willingness to travel for key meetings and international events.
