MaloneSouliers is offering an exciting opportunity to join our Design team and assist with the growth of our seasonal collections and collaborations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent computer skills and be proficient in using Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Microsoft Excel. The candidate should be a competent sketcher, able to draw both by hand and in CAD, and possess good technical knowledge of construction, patterns, materials, and ideally of the footwear manufacturing processes. The candidate will be proactive, a problem solver, and someone who feels confident working in a fast-paced environment.

Working alongside the Design/Product development team, the candidate will:

  • Assist in creating all colour-ups and pattern placements for the season.
  • Prepare technical specification sheets for factories.
  • Assist in finalising the season’s colour and material cards.
  • Prepare seasonal line sheets.
  • Assist with ordering material samples and other components from suppliers.
  • Create design lineups and boards for meetings and presentations.
  • Book courier services and coordinate shipments of raw materials/samples to factories.
  • Assist with sketching as and when required.
  • Organise and archive material and colour cards by season/supplier.

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft and Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Proficiency in English and Italian preferred.
  • Knowledge and interest in footwear product and current trends.
  • Highly organized; positive and proactive attitude.
